Running & Cross Country

Lake City and Columbia County host several cross country events annually. From the Alligator Lake 5k to taking a leisurely stroll around Lake DeSoto, Columbia County has a scenic spot for a fun run or competitive race.

Pickleball

The Lake City/Columbia County Pickleball Club hosts open pickleball games at various locations throughout the community. The club also hosts the annual Winter Blast Tournament in January at the Richardson Community Center. The City of Lake City and Columbia County will be expanding outdoor pickleball courts at Youngs Park and the Richardson Community Center.

Basketball

The Richardson Community Center Gym has an indoor court perfect for your next basketball event. The facility features locker rooms, meeting space, and a concession stand.

Tennis

The City of Lake City is constructing new courts at Youngs Park as well as resurfacing the existing courts to improve the tennis facilities in the area. Additionally, the outdoor courts at the Richardson Community Center are being resurfaced to provide a more enjoyable playing experience.
