Event Grants
Know Before You Apply:
Grant funding is available for major events held in Columbia County that attract large numbers of visitors to the county. Examples include state, regional, national, or international sports events, and multi-day festivals.
The event must include an advertising and promotional component outside Columbia County, Florida. Please provide details including media, broadcasting, web, social media and/or print.
The Visit Lake City/Columbia County Tourism Development encourages all grant requests to be completed at least six months before the event date. The Tourism Development Council will rule on grant requests.

Tips for Completing Your Application:
1. Scroll through each section.
2. Answer all questions. If a question is not applicable, type “n/a” for “not applicable” or “none”.
3. Prepare your documents ahead of time. Create one zip file of all relevant documents to upload.
